Just letting you know...I had a productive breakfast meeting with my publisher the other day. He was behind my early books, and it's been a while since we collaborated on any projects. Turns out he was hoping we might work together again. Before we finished our coffee, we were shooting ideas around, and it was just like old times.

I had no qualms about working with him again. We did five books together, and though it had been an enjoyable experience, I decided to test the waters elsewhere to see what other publishers were like. After getting two of my books published by other traditional houses, the thought of going back to where I got started was rather appealing.

So to my surprise, by the time we finished breakfast I had agreed to another project. I won't say much about it just yet, but I will say the following.

It is a biography.

It is of a famous person.

And it has to do with crime.

What did you think it would be? A cookbook?
